We found this KILLER Sesame Chicken recipe that we just HAVE to share. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
3 Whole Boneless Chicken Breasts
MARINADE
2 Tablespoons of Light Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon of Cooking Wine or Dry Sherry
3 Drops of Sesame Oil
2 Tablespoons of Flour
2 Tablespoons of Cornstarch
2 Tablespoons of Water
1/4 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon of Vegetable Oil
SAUCE
1/2 Cup of Water
1 Cup of Chicken Broth
1/8-1/4 Cup of White Vinegar or Rice Wine Vinegar (depending on how sweet you want the sauce)
1/4 Cup of Cornstarch
1/2 Cup of Sugar
2 Tablespoons of of Sesame Oil
1 Teaspoon of Chili Paste
1 Minced Garlic Clove
FYING
1 1/2 cups of Peanut Oil
SERVING
2 Tablespoons of Toasted Sesame Seeds
DIRECTIONS
1) Cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes. Mix the marinade ingredients (the first 9 ingredients listed) and marinate the chicken for 20 minutes.
2) Mix together all of the sauce ingredients. Pour them into a small pot and bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Turn the heat down to low and keep warm while you are deep-frying the chicken.
3) Add the marinated chicken pieces a few at a time, and deep-fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and then place chicken in warm oven (130 degrees) while you continue frying. Repeat with the remainder of the chicken. Just before you are finished deep-frying, bring the sauce back up to a boil.
4) Place the chicken on a large platter and pour the sauce over. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve the Sesame Chicken with rice.

LA Rapper Kendrick Lamar was on Chicago’s Morning Riot Show this morning. He spoke about his “friendship” with lady GaGa, working with Dr. Dre, how he watch the shooting of the the video California Love from up on his father’s shoulders (Aww), he says he’s been musically inspired every since. Hip Hop, bringing fathers and sons together all over the world, it’s a beautiful thing *sniff*.

I don’t know about you but I’m tired of the old sundress and flats, or heels look. Give it a little kick and match that beloved sundress with a cute pair of cowboy boots, and matching belt (It will be a match made in heaven). Great for a date when you want to be girly but down to earth.

Ms. Melodie (real name Ramona Scott, born in Flatbush, Brooklyn) died today July 18, 2012. She was a Hip Hop artist and was married to KRS-One. Her career was at it’s peak in the late 80’s appearing on Boogie Down Production releases, eventually leading to her own debut album ‘Diva’. The cause of her death are unknown at this hour.
